Matt Kummer blends deep engineering expertise with entrepreneurial execution to design and deliver AI-driven solutions that accelerate innovation and create real business value. With a foundation in aerospace engineering and a track record spanning enterprise, defense, and startup ecosystems, Matt brings a rare versatility to every project—whether he’s optimizing legacy infrastructure or building next-gen AI platforms from scratch.
He began his career as a Program Manager at Boeing, leading major improvement and certification initiatives across both commercial and defense sectors. His work included complex reliability programs on the 787 and electrical certification efforts for the KC-46 Air Force tanker, collaborating across engineering, operations, and regulatory teams to deliver results.
Matt later transitioned to the startup world, serving as Co-Founder and CTO of a San Francisco-based hardware venture. Since 2017, he has led his own independent software consulting practice, building SaaS and e-commerce solutions with embedded AI models. Most recently, he launched a direct-to-consumer GenAI platform, independently developing the product’s design, AI engine, and cloud infrastructure.
Matt holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech.
